    deM atlaS explains of the EP, "DWNR speaks on the climate of how I perceive the age of today and the feelings I carry within myself; confused, unsettled, anxious, slightly paranoid, and the longing to know more as to how I can better myself. The sound consists of my favorite elements in music: grunge, electronic & hip-hop. A combination of all these components brings me to name this sub genre of music 'Droan,' testifying to what Some call, "the drone age."

    The repetitive, melodic choruses are used to birth a melancholy, happy-sad atmosphere of disdain & abandonment, or joy that is reminiscing on a simpler time in one's life."
