Deep Soul Deities "S/T" CD

The well-seasoned groove junkies of Minneapolis' Deep Soul Deities have produced their first full-length album consisting of songs over 2 years in the making. Recorded in several different studios in both analog and digital formats, DSD gave live-take recording an extended effort in order to encapsulate their true chemistry. While their debut EP "Strange Brew" (2010) incorporated elements of funk, jazz, and underground hip hop, this self-titled release offers an even deeper stretch through the barriers of genre, pulling on the roots of soul, blues, Afrobeat, and dance music. Grooves inside of grooves inside of grooves inside of grooves...
